There is extensive research on the text to be undertaken and will be an on-going project work to be completed by the middle of January 2013.
Please follow the agreed guidelines on areas for research. It is vitally important that you read widely to support and extend your understanding.

- Detailed analysis of the text in terms of language / form / structure
- Detailed analysis of the symbolic significance of all aspects of the text
- Society - Marxist interpretation
- Role of men / women
- Pursuit of knowledge
- Enlightenment & Romanticism
